I am alive...

To some that seems like an obvious thing, but I tell you. Going under general anaesthesia is one of the scariest things for me.
The doctors did such an amazing job and I am so happy that I was blessed with them. I only remember the name of one of them, the other one was the one doing the most talking and actually came to make sure I was awake and well after.
I was crying and he just said "don't cry, you made it" :)

I did make it and now there's this journey of healing and hoping this implant does the trick.
The doctors were happy and very intrigued with this operation, taking photos through out and introducing me to other people as a BioPoly patient.
I was given my own room on a very nice ward and had to stay over night which was good because I was feeling very poorly.
Even yesterday I was very ill and I was worried something was wrong.
Turnes out they had to use a strong anaesthesia and also my leg was made completely numb with something so this made an impact as well.

I am much better and think I'll be fine to fly home on monday, I'm mostly worried about carrying my painkillers and injections, what if they won't allow me to fly wight hem?! I have the note from hospital so it should be fine.

Oh and I have learned how to inject myself with a needle! I have to daily if I wanna be able to fly home, so daily I have to inject myself with a blood thinner in my belly.
Not as hard as I thought, the needle is very sharp and not very long.

I can'r wait to see my family and friends, especially now that I survived!
